I continue to read through The Man God Uses.  Here ‘s what I learned today (Chapter 2):

  • “God communicates through His relationship with us.”  (pg. 44)
  • “God doesn’t bless programs– God blesses people.”  (pg. 45)

God uses the Bible to speak to us, through relationship with us.  The two go hand-in-hand, relationship and God’s Word.

The Holy Spirit activates God’s Word in our lives.  He’s the one who moves us from knowledge to action.  Blackaby sites 3 things that the Holy Spirit does in the lives of Christians (pg. 47):

  • Reveal truth
  • Teach us through scripture
  • Convict us of sin in our lives

My prayer is to hear God clearly, to be in such close relationship with Him that I have no doubt of what He tells me through His Word or whatever method He chooses to reach me.

Quote by Barak Obama

“Focusing your life solely on making a buck shows a certain poverty of ambition. It asks too little of yourself. Because it’s only when you hitch your wagon to something larger than yourself that you realize your true potential.” – Barack Obama

“I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” – Phil. 4:13
